Collegium: Concord Recap

The future will belong to leaders who can build across difference. In Washington, D.C., NBEC and Hillel brought together 16 HBCU students and 16 Hillel student leaders for the inaugural Collegium: Concord. Over three days, students examined the shared history of Black and Jewish communities, confronted difficult questions around identity and adversity, and explored what meaningful partnership can look like now. Black and Jewish communities have stood together before. Collegium: Concord is an investment in a new generation prepared to understand that history, strengthen those relationships, and carry the work forward. Because meaningful change still begins with people willing to sit together, listen, learn, and build trust.
