HBCU Game Jam 2026

Students from across HBCUs came together for a 24-hour Game Jam, collaborating to design, build, and launch original video games from scratch. The event brought together emerging developers, educators, and industry leaders to expand access and opportunity in the growing gaming and technology sectors. The National Black Empowerment Council, in partnership with Shine a Light Gaming, was proud to support this initiative and help cultivate the next generation of Black innovators in game development.
